Minnesota State Qualified Parenting Consultant

September 18, 2016

Minnesota Parenting ConsultantA Parenting Consultant is a neutral party selected by both parental figures to assist in issues that deal with visitation, custody and all issues when associated with the well-fair of the child(ren) or when circumstances require a little more monitoring. The position of a parenting consultant is that of what is best for the children and, as a Minnesota State Qualified Parenting Consultant, Jeff Johnson can be a legal advocate for your dependants, as well as make it easier and quicker to re-establish legal terms when they arise. A Parenting Consultant is held in high regard when it comes to the courts, though not appointed by a judge and instead follows through with a written contract, signed by all parties.

Why Request a Parenting Consultant?

If your children are already grown, there is probably no need but if you have infants, toddlers, school-aged kids or all of the above their parenting needs change. A six-month-old has different needs than a six-year-old and therefore may need a different schedule. Many parents want to re-establish their custody schedule or visitation when children start school, when a move is made, when sobriety is at play, there are so many reasons that you may want to consider a Parenting Consultant for all the future interactions you will have with your ex-spouse about the custody and legal aspects of your beloved children.

New Beginnings are often disguised as painful endings. – Lao Tzu

Keep your children dealing with as little stress as possible throughout this time in their lives and ensure our passionate and experienced Parenting Consultant can address any visitation and custody changes or fluctuations needed when your child is young or when all would benefit from it. We can draw up a contract that will encourage and support the growth and health of your dependents.

Many times a Parenting Consultant is someone you contact after a dispute in mediation about child custody has grinded things to halt. If both parties are willing, they work with a Parenting Consultant and resolve the disputes that have caught up this process by agreeing to the recommendations and solutions the appointed Parenting Consultant makes. If someone does not agree, they can go back to court and challenge the decision.
